Context
I experimented with biomaterials in the Chemarts course at Aalto to explore sustainable design practices, drawing inspiration and guidance from the CHEMARTS books.
These resources provided insight into working with natural materials like cellulose and bioplastics, allowing me to create eco-conscious samples that challenge conventional material use. Created bio-cellulose leather, non-acrylic paint, and 3d shapes through free drying.
